The redesigned 2021 Cadillac Escalade is the epitome of luxury. The 2021 Escalade is the largest and longest ever. The Escalade’s new platform and independent rear suspension result in an additional 10.1 inches of third-row leg room.
The king of Cadillac has a 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 engine with 460 lb-ft of torque. New to the 2021 Escalade is Cadillac’s semi-autonomous Super Cruise System.
The showstopper of the Escalade is the curved OLED with 38 inches of total diagonal display that has twice the pixel density of a 4K TV. The three screens spans most of the dash and controls the infotainment, the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces, trip info and various vehicle settings. The instrument cluster, has the ability to project a full-screen map, a night vision camera view, and an augmented reality camera view with navigation arrows overlaid onto the road ahead.
The Escalade comes standard with a long list of equipment, including a heated steering wheel, keyless start, ambient lighting, an Ultraview sunroof, and Platinum models feature a 36-speaker sound system from AKG. You can create differential audio levels so the second row can listen to something different than the front.
The Escalade will greet you with a dramatic light show as you approach. The front Daytime Running Lamps pulsate twice, the rear LED Light Blades illuminate from bottom to top twice and the Cadillac Crest illuminates on the back of the Curved OLED Display. Additionally, an available puddle lamp with the Cadillac Crest appears in anticipation of your arrival.
