The all-new three-row Hyundai Palisade comes to an established midsized SUV market packed with a sharp design, spacious interior, and features including an advanced safety system, and an impressive infotainment system.
The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is available in three trims: SE, SEL and Limited. All models are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 (291 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque) that is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All Palisades come standard with trailer pre-wiring and sway control, and can tow up to 5000 pounds when equipped with the dealer-installed trailer hitch.
According to the EPA, the front-wheel-drive Palisade achieves a rating of 19-mpg city and 26-mpg highway. When equipped with all-wheel drive, the Palisade gets 19 city and 24-mpg highway.
Passenger capacity tops out at eight with the second-row bench or seven with the captain’s chairs.
Every trim level comes with a suite of advanced safety and driver assist features, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, and rear parking warning. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connectivity is standard on SE and SEL trims. A responsive and intuitive 10.3-inch display — optional on the SEL and standard with the Limited—offers navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio. When equipped with Hyundai’s Blue Link app service, the Palisade can be locked and unlocked as well as started remotely through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
