Specifically designed for the American market as Volkswagen’s first three-row SUV, the 2019 Atlas has an abundance of passenger and cargo space, and also boasts all of the Volkswagen touches that you have grown to expect such as high-quality interior surfaces and excellent on-road performance.
The Atlas comes with a choice of a 235-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 276-hp, 3.6-liter V-6. Front-drive versions are available with both engines, but all-wheel drive is offered only with the V-6.
All models have an eight-speed automatic transmission. Every Atlas comes equipped with forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
